website.
ABA(Asian
Basketball Association) - English
ABA is founded by powerful Chinese website SINA.com and a group
of Asian basketball leaders, including ABC president Chin Man-ki,
in 1999. After a series of promotional games, the league start
play in 2000 with Taiwan, South Korea, China, Japan, Philippines,
SINA Hong Kong and NBA Ambassadors.

CBA(Chinese
Basketball Association) - Mandarin(GB)
Also known as Hilton League. This league is called League A in
China, compared to a lesser-competitive League B.

Basketball Alliance) - Mandarin(Big5)
Taiwanese professional basketball league. League play started
in 1994. In 1999, CBA suspended its season indefinitely because
of financial problems. After a 19 months re-strcturing, the CBA
will relaunch in November, 2000.
